Oracle Cards ~ An Excerpt From My Book ~

Oracle Cards

Oracle cards are cards that do not relate to the tarot

correspondences. There are thousands and thousands of oracle

cards. They all have the author/artist’s interpretations and

messages. They usually have a theme to go along with the deck. There are cards with all different messengers and themes. There are cards with angels, animals, goddesses, saints, positive affirmations, chakras,

and more.

The same guidelines as the tarot cards apply when working with

the oracle cards. I often have people work with the oracle cards in addition to the tarot cards. For example I have them to do a simple layout with the tarot, document the results, and then do the same layout with the oracle cards. Almost every time the message and result are the same. This is the beauty of working with divination tools.

Most of the time you will receive the same answer/message.
Here is a simple protocol I suggest using ~ 

• Select a time and place where you will have some privacy.
• Be sure to clear yourself and the space you are working in example ~ sage (spray or mist) light your candle, use some incense or even play some music.
• Say a prayer to connect you to your higher guidance ~ I call upon my higher self, my guides, my guardians to assist me with the wisdom that is for my highest and best good now.
• Sometimes it is best to write down questions beforehand that you would like to ask.
• You can simply pull a card for the message of the day. Later on you can see how the card related to the day with the messages you had received.
• You can also ask what obstacles may I encounter, what am I not seeing accurately, is there a message from a passed over loved one or a guide?
• Journal your messages/readings this will help you open up and trust your guidance even more.
• When you are finished with your card session ~ thank the influences that assisted you with your messages/guidance and open up the circle. We create a circle of light to enclose the energy and we open it up when we are complete with our session.

Do I have a favorite oracle deck? No, I don't I have at least one hundred decks. They are all beautiful, all give me messages that are validating where I am at. If you are looking to purchase a deck, I encourage you to use the demo. Ask a question then pull a card, if the message resonates with your consciousness then it is a winner, if not then find another deck.

Remember these cards can confirm many things for you. Ultimately you must use your own sense of good judgement and intuition to make decisions in your life.

Happy New Year

Today is the day of blank pages, blank canvases ~ the day to begin anew.

So what can we do to keep on track with our new promises?

I have a few suggestions:

• Make your goals doable
• Keep a journal to monitor your progress
• Share your intentions with someone who will help keep you accountable with your goals
• Be reasonable with your timeframe
• Break up your goals into segments so you can have mini-celebrations
• Be flexible ~ some goals need to go back to the drawing board
• Keep it simple ~ try to not micro-manage the outcome down to every detail ~ this is limiting your outcome
• You do not need to pray or focus on your goals 24/7. Set the intention and release the over-analyzing
• Use my cd Transform Yourself for 21 days. It does work.    Transform Yourself 
• Meditate, pray make de-stressing a priority. This will help you raise your vibration, which will help you be more in alignment with your goal
• Give yourself small rewards for staying focused and disciplined with your goal.
• It is okay to start over
• If something is not working or your are becoming disappointed please realize that your higher power is in charge. Your intention may not be for your highest and best good therefore you may not achieve your goal...this is okay it means something better is on its way

Remember it is not all about the end result...it is the journey to the goal where we learn and grow to overcome our own challenges.

Celebrate Every Day!!

Many of us will be celebrating 12-12-12 as well as 12-21-12. 

I have been asked by many if and what I am going to do special for this date ~

The message I have been receiving in meditation as well as within my sessions with clients is this ~ Every day is special. We wake up to a new day full of possibilities. How many days were just plain ol' days when something spectacular happened? What happened November 15th? or April 7th? 

Each and every day is an opportunity to create your future, your joy and your happiness.
We celebrate certain times of the year to remind us we are one. We have the opportunity to come together to join hands and connect with our friends, families, nature and spirit.

This is what was intended for these days with certain numerological frequencies. 
The guidance I received was for me to celebrate every day.

Beginning on January 1st 2013, I will celebrate each and every day by focusing on one aspect of my life to have gratitude and appreciation for being alive on this beautiful planet Earth!

I will do the same as I have before...thank God for the opportunity to share my gifts, to be loved and to love and to take time to relish in this delightful world we are part of.

Most of us take the time to research our Drs, attorneys, schools for our children but how many really do their research when it comes to consulting a psychic?
A psychic reading session shouldn't be taken lightly. You are consulting with another person about the intimate details of your life. You are looking for guidance and direction. Whom you consult these life altering decisons is extremely important.
Tips

• Get a referral if at all possible. Ask about the psychic's history, background, how long they have been in this line of work, their reputation, also was their reading authentic?
• Go to their office or where they "read" at. Do you get a warm, loving, and comfortable feeling?

Signs of A Good Psychic

• Have proper boundaries
• Isn't in it for the money (charging astronomical prices) shop around to see what the going rate is in your area
• They have a sincere desire to help
• They do not waste your time talking about themselves
• They give you tools to help transform, heal and empower you
• You can feel their loving energy

Warning Signs

• Acting as if they are the only one who can help you
• Instilling fear upon you, you leave feeling hopeless
• Encouraging you to come back frequently to spend more money with them
• Discrediting others in the same profession ex. You don't want to go to ....
• Leaving the reading depressed and exhaused, feeling depleted

Just because they say they are psychic does not mean they are!!!

How to Get The Most Out of Your Session

• Come in with an open mind
• Have your questions prepared ahead of time
• Be centered, plan your day so you are not rushed if possible. Scattered energy does not help with your session. It is a 3 way process you, the reader and spirit.
• Try not to be negative. Saying no,no, no if you feel there isn't a connection, then say so. An honest reader/healer would honor that and not charge.
• If you would like the session recorded ask ahead of time, do you you need to bring your recorder?

Each reader has a unique gift, ask about this beforehand.
