My Gratitude List For Thanksgiving 2014

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I have decided to compile a list of things that I am grateful for. Some items on my list are the "usual" things people are grateful for and some things we all take for granted. 

Here is my list of what I am grateful for this year:

• My loving family, my husband Jim and my two children, Jimmy and Nicole
• The support of my family, my Mom, brother, my Aunt, cousin, and in-laws
• The opportunity to have the freedom to do exactly what I love with my career and business
• My staff- I absolutely love my staff. They are loving, kind, loyal and dedicated to helping others heal and grow
• My health
• The roof over my head that is also my sanctuary
• Having a full refrigerator and cabinets full of nutritious food
• Friends who have been there for me and loved me unconditionally
• My pets that make me laugh and who also love me unconditionally
• The new location of my main business which helped it double from last year
• My struggles and challenges that I have been vehicles for personal transformation
• My mentors who have assisted me to grow as an individual on a personal level as well as professional level
• 2 new business ventures
• Nicole my store manager who gives 110% every day
• Reconnecting with a few old friends (well not OLD, people I have known a while and lost touch with)
• Good teeth
• A client base that has been with me throughout the years and has trusted me with their life paths through my counsel
• My creative mind and the ideas thankfully that continue to flow to me and through me
• Amazing and gifted healers that have energetically helped me keep my mind, body and spirit alive and well
• The new friends I have made this year
• A sense of humor where I can laugh at myself and with others
• The fearlessness to sing out loud even though I may not have the best singing voice
• The ability to channel my inner thoughts through writing

The 411 On Crystals According To Me :)

Crystals can assist with healing, abundance, protection, releasing energy, balancing your connecting with your guides/higher self. These are just a few examples of why people use crystals as an energy amplifier as well as releasing energy.

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions people have about crystals.

• How do I select a crystal? 

1. You can use your intuition as you allow the energy of the crystal to pull you towards it.
2. You can read up on different crystals in a crystal book and make your selection based upon the information you find in a crystal book.  
3. Checking out different websites online can help you make your crystal selections.
4. Holding the crystal in your left hand is a great way to help you energetically tune into the crystal's vibration. 
5. The use of a pendulum can help you make your decision.
6. You may also close your eyes and select your crystal by leaving the choice up to spirit.

• How do you cleanse them?

1. Sage them before and after each usage
2. Place them in a crystal cleanse for at least 2 hours
3. Hold your crystal under running water. Be sure your crystal is not going to dissolve, Selenite for example, will dissolve under water.
4. Hold your pendulum over your crystal to clean and clear the energy.
5. Burying your crystal in soil will help clear and bring it back to a natural state.

After I have cleansed my crystal, I then will charge it with my desired intention. 

• Now what? My crystal is charged what should I do with it?

1. Hold your crystal in your hand. Left is the receiving side to receive energy, right is the sending side and charging energy.
2. Wear as jewelry.
3. Keep in your pocket, bra or around you neck in a pouch
4. Put in a dish by your bed or in an area where you meditate often.
5. Lay the crystal on your body while laying down or use a band aid or headband to hold it in place.
6. Place the crystal on a distance healing alter on a picture or on a piece of paper with your name and birthdate.

• How often do you need to clear my crystals?

1. It depends, the crystal may feel flat, break or become lost if you do not clear your crystal. If the crystal doesn't feel the same, it is time to clear it.

Are other people allowed to hold your crystals? 

1. It really is a personal preference. I would probably not share my crystal if I am using it for a personal intention. **Be sure to request permission before handling anyone else's crystal**

Can you gift them? 

1. Absolutely, and you may clear them and pass them on. When I select a crystal for another person, I ask my higher self for assistance. Usually I will "hear" the crystal volunteer to go a new home.

Crystals are not only beautiful to look at, they feel good in your hand and are also excellent for shifting energy, bringing in energy and releasing energy. They have been used for centuries here on Mother Earth by ancient civilizations as energy amplifiers, etheric and physical tools as well as for magical purposes. The thing I love most about crystals is that there are limitless uses as well as infinite crystals to choose from. I honestly can say that I have never met a crystal that I didn't like :)

Hesitation - Often A Blessing In Disguise

The slight hesitation you experience when faced with decisions may not always be your resistance to change or not being a proactive participant in your life. I know for myself, many times the slight hesitation on my part was influenced by my Higher Self buying me time and or preventing me from my making a decision that would not benefit my own soul growth. 

Yes, there are times when our hesitation is our own procrastination that causes us to repeat unhealthy patterns of stagnancy and self-sabotage. The only true way to know if you are not being assertive would be to truly know yourself. When we are able to identify our own "stuff" we are then able to trust that slight hesitation or influence from Higher Self. I am sure you have either thought or said out loud: "I am not sure why I am going to put this on hold, but I am." There is reason behind the delay. The possible reasoning could be:

• You are about to make a mistake that will require a lot of back tracking
• You are rushing the process
• You are allowing yourself to be influenced by another where the decision would not be beneficial to you
• More information needs to be gathered
• Another option, Plan B might be right around the corner
• The timing could be off by a day, week, month or year

These are just a few of the possible reasons your Higher Self has put you on hold.

The hesitation is one of the ways the Higher Self communicates to you. It is through your own intuition. In order for you to pause, you must be listening and tuning in to your spiritual helpers, for some of you, you probably did not think of the communication in this way. We are always guided even when we think we our helpers are out to lunch. In order for us to hear, see, know or feel the guidance; silence, meditation, inner reflection and knowing yourself are the necessary steps to develop your own intuition.

So from now on, please do trust that slight hesitation, it most certainly could be a blessing in disguise.

Spirit - The Ultimate Event Coordinator

Trusting everything will work itself out and fall into place beautifully is no easy feat.  Most of us are emotionally attached to the outcome of our endeavors and are watching for signs, symbols, and messages that may provide us with a glimpse of our possible desired outcome. 

This week's channeled message is one of trust, faith and allowing your higher self, helpers, guides and ancestors to work their magic as you handle your personality self's fear, anxieties and emotions. 

Your higher self wants you to know that you are a being of light here in the physical to learn for the evolution of your soul. Your soul is different than your personality here on Earth. The soul is multi-dimentional and has got this! Each and every difficulty that you encounter does have purpose. You may not be able to understand the why, what, where, who or how immediately but there is purpose for everything that happens in your life.

What you do not always know is that there are solutions to the situations that trouble you. The Higher Self has created assistance in the form of coincidences, random events, and epiphanies that are lined up for you as long as you stay in touch with yourself through meditation, prayer, inner reflection, healing, learning, patience and being willing to take responsibility for your actions and inactions. 

Each and every person has a path that has been mapped out before birth. There is an outline of this path that has a lot of wiggle room for free will choices. If at any time you are heading down a path that is not for your highest and best good, there will be a detour brought in, and trust me you will be re-routed to a path that is for your highest and best good. This does not mean there will not be difficulty and suffering. How can we know happiness if we have not experienced sadness or pain. 

We all have life coordinators - our Higher Selves, Guides, Angels, Ancestors and the Universal All That Is. When difficulties arise, know that there is a solution just around the corner and do your best to trust the process. It may even help you to reflect on the times when you felt hopeless and all worked out beautifully. Some call this a gratitude journal, if you have not created one, I suggest you begin to put one together. A gratitude journal can help you buy some time as the great coordinator conjures up some help to get you to the next phase.

The next suggestion is to resist the urge to become hopeless, negative and filled with fear. These 'things' are sure-fire distractions from the solutions and peace you seek. Once negativity sets in it slows down the progression process. You are actually adding time on to your suffering. There are many ways to get out of the dumps:

• Saging
• Spend time with positive people
• Clear your space
• Receive healings such as Reiki, massage or spiritual counseling
• Light a candle or two to remind you to bring in the light
• Have a releasing ceremony
• Change your behavior
• Count your blessings
• Redirect your focus, recharge your batteries by taking a short break 
• Carry some negativity absorbing crystals around with you to keep you positive

Remember your soul is on a journey and everything that happens on this journey is purposeful for the evolution of your soul and there is always a solution waiting around the corner for you. We all know that our souls achieve the most growth through adversity and we are in control as to how long we stay in that difficult place. 

When the path is dark and you do not see an end in sight, turn on your light and allow you light to guide you!

I Dare You! Are You Up For It?

Are you up for my challenge? I challenge every single person who reads this Blog to make a conscious effort to not think or say a negative thought or word. Can you do it? 
I think you can :) Negativity and complaining only lower our vibration, we all agree on this concept. May I ask, then why do we still complain, whine, gossip, or stir the pot? I understand that sometimes, we simply want to vent or commiserate with others to make ourselves feel better or to simply gain attention. When we do this, we are actually stealing energy from others as we dump and take the energy/life force from others. 

When we do these things we not only harm ourselves but are harming the other person as well as our human collective, the animal and plant kingdom and our precious planet. Everything is energy. What we send out with our thoughts, emotions, words and actions is sent out and returns not only to us but also effects everything and everyone. We effect our weather, our illnesses, our collective soul lessons - everything!
