The 1st Full Moon in March will take place on March 1st. In the month of March 2018, we will have 2 Full Moons. The 2nd Full Moon will be on March 31st. The first Full Moon in March is called the Worm Moon or Sap Moon by the Native Americans because the ground begins to thaw during this month. As the ground thaws, the worms start to break through the soil and the ground is getting itself prepared to provide healthy and nutrient rich soil for crops. It is also known as the Sap Moon because trees begin to produce sap as the weather warms up. The significance as these events is that we are able to prepare for the physical manifestation of our goals as we think about which seeds we would like to plant in our own lives and hopefully those seeds will bear fruit for us in the future.
The Full Moon will be in the sign of Virgo at 11 degrees. The 11 has a significant meaning for us because numerically we are in an 11 year. 2018 - 2+8+1 =11. 11's project us forward as we move through the limitations of the human experience. 11's help us balance the dark and light within ourselves. 11's connect us with the light our soul and grounds that light into our Earthly existence helping us to remember how magnificent we truly are. Our intuitive abilities are heightened and will open up communication with the higher, higher self. Alignment with the higher, higher self brings forth enlightenment and deeper understanding of the hidden mysteries of spirit. The possibilities for us this year are huge! If the possibilities are ginormous, be prepared to grow at a rapid pace on a personal level. What does this mean? It means that there is no hiding behind self-imposed limitations. Be ready to have all of your self-sabotage brought front and center to be dealt with and healed. Trust me, it will be worth being uncomfortable in the end.
Virgo is an Earth sign which is reminding us to take care of our bodies at this time. Taking care of your body by eating healthier and visiting the Dr. when necessary is a must! Virgo's message about our health during this Full Moon is strong and clear. Is telling us to take care of our bodies and that we must make sure our health is a high priority in our lives.
The goals for this Full Moon will be; detoxifying ourselves of unhealthy habits, thoughts and behaviors and to listen to the guidance that is available via the higher, higher self. The Full Moon will be opposite Neptune which may cause quite a bit of chaos in the way of misunderstanding others and vice versa. During this time of Pisces (March), we can expect psychic downloads, crazy - amazing dreams, our psychic abilities will be on point and we must not brush these intuitive nudges aside. We must also be aware that some of the negative aspects of Neptune may pop up in the form of; depression, illusion and our addictions may flare up on us.
As you can see there is a lot happening during this Full Moon. Let's recap and break it down to the do's and don't during this time.
